So, it’s half way to the end of the year. It’s the perfect time to look back and see how we all have passed the year. Am I still on track? Or I’m just getting worse than last year? But either way, we all deserve a little celebration, just for ourselves. Cause we all know how hard we’ve tried and how hard we have struggled to be what we are today.
So I guess, Wine Dinner would be a perfect way to end the year, no?
With so many places I’ve been throughout the year, my Wine Dinner took place at, again, Sheraton Bandung. Continue reading
You wouldn’t believe me if I tell you that last week makes the first time I ate Bak Kut Teh, like ever. And to be specific, Song Fa Bak Ku Teh was my first one! Think I made the right choice.
Long story short, Bak Kut Teh (which literally is translated as ‘meat bone tea‘) is a soup consists of pork ribs. I was a bit confused about the ‘tea’ part since I don’t think they use tea as the soup base? But then later I found out that people normally eat it with tea since most believe that tea can help to dissolve some amount of fat contained in the soup. So that’s how it was named after! I supposed.
You know, I’ve been to Sheraton Hotel Bandung a few times lately but Sheraton Bandung has never failed to surprise me! After having to taste their amazing selection of lunch menu, this time I came back for the Sunday Brunch!
What I love about having my Sunday Brunch here is that Feast Restaurant is located just beside the pool. So it makes me feel like I’m having a short summer getaway at an exotic island, while in fact, I’m at a highland area.
Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, is the country’s second largest city after Ho Chi Minh city. It is where the traditional Vietnamese culture blend with the French, so they said.
This city offers a LOT more than I imagined before. I went there on January 2014. I can’t believe the fact that I’ve been postponing on writing this for nearly a year! So, before these precious memories of mine got lost forgotten, I want to share let’s say, a mini travel guide about where to go, what to do, and what to eat in Hanoi. And not to forget, my bad experience in Hanoi! You’ll find it at the end of this post so keep reading!
I’m not a travel-expert, not even closed to be one. I don’t get to explore every inches of the city, that’s obvious. I just happened to live there, enjoying the city the way I like while I had the chance. So here I present to you, a Mini Travel Guide about Hanoi which, to you, might look just like many other informal travel guide you can easily find on the internet. But hey, mine is a personal one since this one is written based on my own personal experience. So, let’s go! Continue reading
There is always something exciting about going out for lunch meeting new friends, especially when you got to meet some new blogger friends you already knew from a long time ago on Instagram but yet never got a chance to meet them. Oh yeah, social media rocks!
That’s what I felt last weekend when I got to attend Zomato meetup where we, Indonesian food bloggers, learned how to make cocktail and martini at Spanky’s Ribs and Martini, Kemang Jakarta.
The big day was finally there!
Just exactly 3 weeks ago, the five-star hotel, Padma Hotel Bandung, celebrate their 5th Anniversary by holding this so called FIVETASTIC. It’s a buffet dinner event featuring a large variety of international dishes. They also provide free flow wine from Sababay Winery and cigar from DOS Hermanos. Continue reading
